Who can join?
Anyone 18 or over with at least 1,000 followers on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube. You need to own the accounts you connect, and our team reviews every account before you can apply.
Does it cost anything?
No. It's free to join and free to apply.
How do I find campaigns?
Browse the live briefs in the app and apply to the ones that suit you. The brand looks at your profile and decides whether you're a good fit. To hear about new campaigns as soon as they open, turn on new campaign emails in the app, or join our free WhatsApp and Telegram channels.
Is there a Brief72 app?
Not in the App Store or Google Play yet, but you can add Brief72 to your Home Screen on an iPhone or Android phone, so it opens like an app.
Pay
How much will I be paid?
Each brief shows what you'll be paid if you're approved.
When do I receive my payment?
Once your video is live, we check its views for 5 days to make sure they're real, with no bots or fake engagement. Then your fee lands in your Brief72 account.
What do I need before my first withdrawal?
Your bank details and your tax details: your legal name, date of birth, home address and National Insurance number. UK rules mean digital platforms have to collect these and report creators' earnings to HMRC each year, so we ask once, before you first take money out. Your earnings are safe in your account until then.
Making videos
How long do I have to make my video?
Once you've accepted a campaign and been approved, you have 72 hours to make your video.
Can I post my video before it's approved?
No. Only post once your video has been approved in the app. Videos posted before they're approved aren't paid.
Why might a video be turned down?
Usually because it doesn't follow the brief, makes claims the brand can't back up, uses music that isn't cleared for brand use, or is missing the ad label. You'll get feedback and can try again, and most briefs allow up to 2 attempts.
Do I have to keep the post up?
Each campaign varies, so be sure to check the campaign requirements.
Who owns the video?
Once the brand has paid, it owns the video and can reuse it. You can still show it in your portfolio.
Can I work with other brands?
Yes. There's no exclusivity. A brief may only ask you not to promote a direct competitor during the campaign.
